The Binding Of Isaac:
I have like 300 hours on this game. I have about 500/600 achievements. I was highkey obsessed with TBOI during 2021-2023. It was the first videogame that I actually got good at. I was introduced to it watchingNorthernlion's TBOI:Repentance series on youtube and I think I probably watched 500 hours of him playing the game I was OBSESSED. But I was so bad at video games I never bought it. Then my friend let me try it out for the first time on his computer and I actually enjoyed playing it, and well, that's that. The game's weird as fuck, you are a little baby boy running away from your evil christian mother who thinks god told her to kill you and you are crying at enemies and poop. The game has like 1000+ different items and trinkets and it's really fun. Also this pages background is from it.
Hollow Knight:
Hollow Knight is pretty special to me. It's the first real videogame I played and I sucked butt at it. I got lost in the Forgotten Crossroads a bajillion times and kept dying. And I got really stressed out and quit, you know why? It's because I was so immersed I felt like I was there, I would see a huge enemy and my heart would race and the music would swell. It's just so empty, and so beautiful. A year later when I was better at games I came back to it and beat the base game. It's just so nice being in Hollownest (the abandoned underground kingdom the game takes place in). It feels exactly like being in the wilderness, a little lost, a little lonely, constantly in awe. If you play any game on this page, play this one.
Silksong:
This game is so beautiful, feels so fun to move in and is SO HARD HOLY CRAP. Full review once I finish the game.
